University of Colorado at Boulder
Williams Village is the residential community east of the
main campus where over 1,400 students live. Framed by the
six existing Williams Village Towers, the $46.5-million Williams Village
North at 3300 Baseline Road is a 6-story, 131,000 square-foot,
500-student facility built to meet burgeoning enrollments at CU.
The complex provides a Residency Academic Program where
professors live and interact with students. CU received
LEED Platinum certification for this project, the first Platinum
on the CU campus and the first in the nation for a residence hall
of this size.
Drexel,
Barrell & Co. was an integral part of the design-build team.
Our services included design and boundary surveys, civil
engineering of site infrastructure, approval processing,
construction staking, and construction engineering. This is
Drexel Barrell′s fourth major Williams Village project for CU.
