Positions Available

Senior Transportation Engineer

Immediate opening available in our Boulder, Colorado Springs, or Greeley offices. Supervisory and production position requires minimum 20 years experience in transportation engineering-managing, supervising, and designing streets, roads, intersections, drainage, signals, trails, and pedestrian underpasses.

Should be well-versed and proficient in preparing PS&E for multi-modal transportation projects per CDOT and Colorado city and county requirements. Exceptional oral and written communication skills in working with clients, agencies and the public are essential.

Successful applicant will be part of the management team with excellent salary commensurate with qualifications, experience, and proven performance. Opportunities for bonuses based upon individual, team, and company performance. Requires BSCE (MSCE ideal), current Colorado Professional Engineers license and demonstration of a stable employment record. PTOE desired, but not a prerequisite.


Water Resources Engineer

Immediate opening in our Boulder, Colorado Springs, or Greeley offices. Position requires minimum of 10 years progressive experience in hydrology and hydraulics, performing culvert and bridge hydraulics, HEC-RAS, floodplain analysis and modeling, FEMA CLOMR and LOMR processing.

Requires BSCE (MSCE preferred), current Colorado Professional Engineers license and demonstration of a stable employment record. Certified Floodplain Manager preferred. Salary commensurate with qualifications, experience, and proven performance.

Drexel Barrell Engineer Brian Charland (left) on his way to winning the 2016 Webster Turkey Trot in Rochester, NY. This was Brian's 11th consecutive year running the race, and he finished with a 5:16 minute per mile pace in a pack of over 4,500 runners.

Brian placed 80th overall in the Bolder Boulder in 2016 and 112th in 2017 with nearly 50,000 entrants in each race.

On August 19, 2018, Brian finished 51st overall (of 723) in the Pikes Peak Marathon with a time of 5:18:46.
